Students who earn a degree through a Department of Management program are prepared to plan, organize, make decisions, communicate and lead effectively in a variety of work settings. Degree programs include:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration in Management
  • Master of Science Entrepreneurial Leadership
  • Master of Science in Management, with an emphasis in Human Resources
  • Ph.D. in Management

Relevant Coursework
The program’s strategic curriculum effectively combines theory and application to provide students with a solid foundation in management. This approach helps students obtain the necessary knowledge and competencies to work for consulting firms, Fortune 500 companies, retail and services industries, nonprofit and charitable entities, governmental agencies, new ventures and family businesses. Our approach also provides a solid knowledge base for students who plan to pursue graduate studies in business, law or other disciplines.

Students hone their skills in written and verbal communication, teamwork and problem solving through group projects, presentations and other classroom activities.

Targeted Electives
Undergraduate students in our program have the opportunity to tailor their studies through taking electives in one of five areas:

  • Nonprofit Management
  • Pre-Law

Management students are encouraged to participate in internships to gain short-term work experience, explore career interests and develop business skills in a professional, on-the-job environment.
