Biography
Barbara Bayer received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1994 and a Master of Public Administration in 2007. Ms. Bayer has experience in the private sector and public sector and has served as an Assistant Dean for Finance and Administration for over 11 years with Texas A&M University, and recently joined the Mays Business School in March 2022. As the Assistant Dean for Finance and Administration, Ms. Bayer oversees the college’s business functions, accounting, budgeting, human resources, payroll, IT Management, and Facilities Management. Her role includes providing leadership, interpretation, and guidance on university policies and procedures.
