Biography
Blake Petty is Executive Director of the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship at Mays Business School. Petty received his bachelor’s from Texas A&M in ’98 and his master’s in 2000. He has worked in a variety of entrepreneurial capacities across the university and Texas A&M System, including 10 years in the Office of Technology Commercialization and as Assistant Vice President for Research, in Innovation & Business Development.
Mr. Petty has facilitated commercialization and entrepreneurship opportunities for hundreds of Texas A&M students, staff and faculty researchers. He was a founding partner in the launch of the campus’ first student business incubator, Startup Aggieland, and co-founded the Aggie Angel Network, which he continues to operate as Executive Director.
