Biography
Darrin Hammer joined the Center for Executive Development (CED) at Texas A&M University in June of 2022. In the role of Assistant Director for Strategic Growth, he is responsible for the developing and executing the strategic plan to grow the CED portfolio of clients and revenue generating strategies.
Prior to joining the CED team, he worked at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah in their Executive Education department. During his 4 years there he helped grow the revenue streams for both open enrollment and custom programs. Darrin brings to the CED team and extensive background in relationship building and developing leadership programs. He was instrumental in the development of a fully online Leading with Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Certificate as well as their in-person Women in Leadership Certificate. Prior to his time at the University of Utah, he served as the Assistant Club Director for a local AAU basketball organization. For 17 years Darrin coached and developed over 180 collegiate basketball athletes, both Men and Women, a handful of which went on to play professionally in the states as well as overseas.
Having been born and raised in Utah, Darrin loves to be outdoors and explore nature. When he is not working, Darrin will most likely be out of town somewhere taking in some new cultural experiences with his Wife and 3 Kids.
