Hiroko Sumikura

Biography

Hiroko Sumikura is a Multimedia Production Manager with Texas A&M’s Mays Business School.

From 2011, co-organized TEDxHuntsville (Alabama), as a producer and marketing manager. Produced multiple events by leading 100% volunteer led organization, curated speakers. In 3 years more than tripled revenue and visitors to sell out 500 seat venue with major sponsors such as Boeing and US Space & Rocket Center.
In 2010, received master’s degree from Boston University, interned at Media Law Firm and Marketing Firm in Hollywood and got married.

2005-2010 Working 14 hours a day on busy times mainly as a Post-Production Supervisor but also got to be Director, Coordinator, Fixer, Production Manager, Audio Engineer, Teleprompter Operator. Coordinate logistic with overseas clients and local production staff and locations. Edit news, corporate and various videos, work on subtitling and graphics, and perfected my karaoke technique
