Biography

Joshua Macareno serves as the Graduate Career Advisor in the Graduate Career Management Center at Mays Business School, where he supports all MBA Graduate Programs by delivering and maintaining Career QuickStart modules. He ensures all students receive timely access to career resources prior to matriculation and that materials remain current throughout the academic year. Josh also provides frontline tactical career advising, including resume reviews, interview preparation, and mock interviews across the Graduate Programs.

In addition to advising, he supports the Graduate Career Management Center operations by assisting with employer events, coordinating logistics, and distributing resume books to employers and partners. While also tracking and organizing student engagement data and contributing to career communications through program-specific newsletters. Josh brings a strong blend of strategic planning, event coordination, mentorship, and marketing and administrative expertise, including creating promotional materials, onboarding new student employees, enhancing processes, and resolving technical challenges to ensure every student has access to career success.
