Rafael M. De-Moya is a Senior IT Professional II with Technology Services – Mays. He manages and trains student workers, designs and provides technical material to staff and students, and manages email and user accounts. He researches and tests new technology and assists in its deployment. Using the MECM server, he manages imaging and deployment of new and current computers, tablets and deploys software. With the help his team, he also deploys new computers, printers and other devices as needed.

As an IT industry professional since 2004, he worked as a network administrator for a dealership and as the Technology Specialist for Waller ISD Region 4 Education Service Center. While at Region 4 he traveled in Houston and the surrounding area to help ISDs with their immediate needs. He served as liaison to outside vendors that provided support for technology equipment and materials. He provided technical assistance/support for all technology users internal and at the districts with network, hardware, software issues, Active directory, web filter, spam filter, cameras, and audio video. He also assisted in training new and current staff regarding either changes in technology or areas of concern.

As the Technology Specialist at Waller ISD he maintained the integrity of the network environment for multiple campuses with over 2200 systems and 22 computer labs. Installing, configuring and maintaining systems and application servers, telephone and camera systems. He deployed, configured and maintained hardware and software to users. He also designed technical material and presented training to the Campus Technologist, teachers and students.
