Sarah Jaks

Biography

Sarah Jaks serves as the Director for the Full-Time MBA Program at Mays Business School. She oversees the development, administration, and implementation of programs and services to provide a supportive educational environment for students in the MBA Program. She joined Mays in 2017 and previously served as the Assistant and then Associate Director for the Full-Time MBA Program.

Jaks received her Doctorate in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications in 2020 and her Master’s in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education in 2011, both from Texas A&M University. She previously worked in the Department of Student Life at Texas A&M for eight years, serving in various roles related to off-campus living, graduate students, and interpersonal violence prevention. She received an Award of Distinction in the Division of Student Affairs in 2014 and served as a Fish Camp namesake in 2015.

Originally from Shiner, TX, Jaks completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at Texas Lutheran University. She enjoys running, hunting, and spending time with her family and their dogs.
