Biography

Steven Burton is the Executive Director of the Graduate Career Management Center at Mays Business School. Prior to joining the Mays School, Steven served in leadership roles at top business schools worldwide including Executive Director of Executive Education at the Indian School of Business (Hyderabad, India), Managing Director of Executive Degrees at INSEAD (Singapore, Fontainebleau, Abu Dhabi & Beijing), Assistant Dean, Graduate Programs at Singapore Management University (Singapore), Associate Dean, MBA Programs at Karachi School of Business (Karachi, Pakistan) and Director Working Professional MBA Programs at the McCombs School of Business, UT Austin. Steven has built or led the Career Management function in each of his degree program roles. Additionally, he has served on the MBA CSEA Board of Directors and was co-founder of MBA CSWP. Prior to moving into the academic world, Steven had a 20-year corporate career with IBM and other firms.
