Our top Mays HR faculty, in partnership with HR executives from multiple industries, have designed this program to incorporate the best of what exists within our full-time program and combine it with cutting-edge thinking and practice. The curriculum and approach are specifically designed for working professionals looking to be successful business leaders, not just typical HR practitioners.
Curriculum
The program is designed to help individuals thrive in their careers as HR professionals or other leaders of talent. The curriculum includes a focus on key Human Resources processes, such as organizational staffing, legal compliance, HR analytics, talent management, total rewards, organizational behavior and change. However, today’s successful HR leaders have a solid business foundation and focus. Our program challenges students to go beyond the typical HR coursework and develop fundamental business and leadership skills necessary to help organizations drive performance and win in the marketplace.

Prerequisites
To be eligible for admission to the Flex Online MS HRM Program, applicants must meet Texas A&M University’s admissions requirements. Items considered for admission to Texas A&M include:
- Holding a four-year baccalaureate degree or higher from a college or university of recognized standing. Degrees from institutions outside the United States are evaluated for equivalency to U.S. degrees.
- Unofficial transcripts from all institutions attended
- Grade Point Ratio (GPR)
- Two letters of recommendation
- Completion of two application essay questions
- Professional résumé
- Interview
- Promise of ability to pursue advanced study and research satisfactorily
- Adequate preparation to enter graduate school in the specific discipline or field of study
- Application fee
- English language proficiency exam (for international applicants only)
