Prerequisites

Prerequisites are not required at the time of application. Prerequisites are due by the Summer I term (mid-July) following admission.  AP or transfer credit is accepted from accredited universities. Students may take the courses online, as needed, to meet this deadline.  For students without a strong mathematics background, additional coursework in coding, linear algebra and differential equations is strongly encouraged.

Sophomore Start

MSQF Sophomore Start is the best way to maximize your experience and the benefits of our program. The Sophomore Start allows you to take 14 credit hours of MSQF courses while you are still an undergrad. This includes 6 hours that you will take in May and August Boot Camps following admission. While the primary reason is for recruiting competitiveness, MSQF Sophomore Start also has the benefit of reducing the cost of the Program by up to 10% because the 14 hours of courses taken while an undergrad is charged at the undergrad tuition rate.

Emphasis for Sophomore Start acceptance is placed on the following in order of importance: GRE/GPA, career goal, career focus and maturity, and resume strength.

Junior Start

MSQF Junior Start allows you to take 11 credit hours of MSQF courses while you are still an undergrad, and those hours are billed at the undergraduate tuition rate. This includes 6 hours that you will take in May and August Boot Camps following admission.  Final admission to the program is contingent on obtaining a summer internship following admission.

Emphasis for Junior Start acceptance is placed on the following in order of importance: resume strength (Internships) career goal, career focus, maturity and GRE/GPA scores.

Senior Start

MSQF Senior Start Program allows select seniors to begin their full-time year directly after undergraduate graduation and completing after 1 year.  Students begin the program with May and August Boot Camps.

Emphasis for Senior Start acceptance is placed on the following in order of importance: resume strength (internships), career focus, maturity, career goals, and GRE/GPA scores. Students must be a current senior student who is a May graduate at Texas A&M College Station and is strongly recommended to have had at least 1 internship (commercial, non-educational entity) the summer prior to application.  Admission to the program is contingent on obtaining a final summer internship following acceptance.
