The Aplin Department of Marketing is an excellent choice for Ph.D. students who are seriously interested in an academic career at major research universities. The department’s national recognition and a well-designed doctoral program place us in a strong position to assist our doctoral graduates in developing attractive placement opportunities at quality schools upon completion of their studies, and their work as doctoral students are regularly recognized with university and prestigious disciplinary awards.

Awards

The Doctoral Student Teaching Excellence Award and the Doctoral Student Research Excellence Award recognize the outstanding contributions of our doctoral students. Each year, winners receive a plaque and a cash award at the biannual Mays faculty and staff meeting. Additionally, our students’ research excellence have earned recognition through prestigious disciplinary awards.
