Welcome

Howdy!

Welcome to Mays Business School at Texas A&M University! Our mission is “To be a Vibrant Learning Organization that Creates Impactful Knowledge and Develops Transformational Leaders.” Mays Business School educates nearly 6,300 undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students in accounting, finance, information systems and operations management, management, and marketing. Mays ranks consistently among the top public business schools in the country for its programs and for faculty research.

As I approach 20 years of service to Mays, I can assure you that you could not ask for a more invigorating and caring learning organization than you will experience here. Our school has a long history of fostering collaborative partnerships among faculty, staff, students, former students, and the broader university to create communities in which all members feel a sense of belonging and support.

It is an exciting time at Mays Business School as we continue with several important initiatives, including a proposed 75,000 square foot expansion to our building located on the Texas A&M University main campus. The new Business Education Complex will encompass innovative spaces that promote connectivity, creativity, and collaboration – a physical manifestation of part of our mission: “To Be a Vibrant Learning Organization.”

We invite you to join us in pursuing Mays Business School’s vision of “Advancing the World’s Prosperity,” which means providing a better future for generations who follow, including quality of life, the environment, and economic systems. You can learn more about our School’s vision and mission by reviewing our Strategic Plan and visiting Inside Mays to meet transformational leaders who are impacting the global communities in which we serve.

We also invite you to learn more about our transformative programs and partnerships by visiting our main campus at Texas A&M University in College Station or our facility in Houston. If we can answer any questions, feel free to reach out to me or any member of our Executive Committee. Again, welcome to Mays Business School!

Sincerely,

Dr. Nate Sharp
