Students must apply and be accepted to program to begin the coursework. All program requirements must be completed prior to graduation.

Eligible Applicants: Freshman BBA Majors & Engineering Majors

Students must be enrolled at Texas A&M University to be considered.

  • Attend 1-1 interview session with Aggies in Tech faculty/staff
  • Enroll in courses at Mays and in Engineering

The high impact Aggies in Tech courses have been designed for students to explore career opportunities in business technologies.

Internships:
While not mandated, students in the program are encouraged to successfully complete two internships, with a emphasis on technology and business, between their freshman and senior years. Aggies in Tech does not guarantee internship or full-time employment, the program will provide numerous networking opportunities and access to recruiters for students to explore opportunities.

Courses

Aggies in Tech special topics:

  • CSCE 110- Introduction to Coding (3 credits)
  • BUSN 489 – Emerging Technology Environment (3 credits)
  • BUSN 289 – High Impact Networking Course (0 credits)
  • Technology electives from the home department (6 credits) *
