Regents’ Ambassador Program (RAP)
The Regents’ Ambassador Program (RAP) is the official student success program for Regents’ Scholars at Mays Business School. Students in the RAP learning community participate in first-year experiences that enhance student engagement and academic achievement including a freshman seminar course, professional development workshops, community building events, and peer mentoring.
Program Overview
Mays Business School students who receive the Regents’ Scholarship are automatically placed into the Regents’ Ambassador Program as Freshman and participate in learning community activities throughout their first year.

Program Requirements
RAP students must meet and maintain eligibility for the Texas A&M University (TAMU) Regents’ Scholarship. In addition, students must satisfy RAP Freshman Learning Community requirements.
- Be a full-time undergraduate student in Mays Business School
- Meet eligibility requirements for the TAMU Regents’ Scholarship
- Live on campus for the entire first year
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress
- Participate in required RAP Freshman Learning Community experiences
Learning Community
RAP students are required to participate in a Freshman learning community during their first year at Mays Business School. Through RAP learning community activities, students engage in common courses, professional development, and peer mentoring that supports their academic achievement and success.
