Opportunities to Learn More
Prospective students often have specific questions about the Executive MBA program so we offer several opportunities for candidates to obtain additional information:
Complete the online request form: Prospective students who complete this online form connect with our admissions team and receive a packet of admissions materials in the mail. They also join our email list to receive admissions updates, invitations to special events and reminders of important deadlines.
Pre-application review: Prospective students are encouraged to schedule a pre-application review with the Executive MBA admissions team. This review gives candidates the opportunity to ask questions, discuss their qualifications and have their resume evaluated by a member of the admissions committee. The review is usually completed by phone and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Candidates should email their resume to firstname.lastname@example.org to begin the process of scheduling this review. Please make sure to indicate in the email that you are interested in the EMBA program so we can connect you with the right member of the admissions team.
Attend an information session: The admissions team presents regular overviews about the benefits of earning a degree through our Executive MBA program. These sessions feature a panel of current and former students who provide a clear and candid description of their Executive MBA experience. Information sessions are held at Mays Business School’s CityCentre facility in west Houston. Click here to register. Sessions are scheduled for:
- Tuesday, April 4 at 6:30pm
- Thursday, May 4 at 6:30pm
Virtual information sessions: Online sessions are offered to provide information to prospective students who cannot attend the monthly information sessions at CityCentre. These virtual information sessions provide an overview of our two programs in Houston – the Executive MBA and the Professional MBA. Participants can ask questions and interact with our admissions team. Click here to register. These sessions are from 12pm-1pm Central Time on the following dates:

Walk-In Advising: We welcome the chance to meet with prospective students on the following dates listed below. You do not need to register for an appointment…simply bring a copy of your resume to our CityCentre location in Houston to meet with a member of the admissions team. We will be available to share more with you about our programs and the admissions process from 10:00am to 4:00pm on these dates:

- Saturday, May 13
