Program Details
The Texas A&M Master of Science in Human Resource Management (MS-HRM) Program is a rigorous program that offers a number of unique features and benefits. Students develop competencies in the key areas of HR management through strategically specialized HRM coursework and exposure to core business components aimed to enhance overall business acumen. Our program helps students learn how to develop leaders and foster strategic thinking within organizations through various workshops and Fortune 500 executive guest speakers. Our graduates are heavily recruited for positions for both internships and full-time employment with our 18 corporate partner Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries.

MS-HRM Curriculum:

Prerequisites
To be eligible for admission to the MS HRM Program, applicants must meet Texas A&M University’s prerequisite requirements below.
A four-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited university. Degrees from institutions outside the U.S. are evaluated for equivalency to U.S. degrees.
Two Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) courses must be taken prior to beginning the program to fulfill the general background in business requirement. One course in accounting and one course in marketing is required. CBK courses can be taken at any accredited university, including community colleges and must be successfully completed with a C or better. Students can apply and be granted admission into to our program prior to completion of the CBK courses if they are both completed before the start date of the program.
If the CBK courses are taken at a community college or outside of Texas A&M University, they must be equivalent to the following courses. This information can be found on the Transfer Course Equivalency Information on Howdy Portal.
