Meet the Assistant Dean for AI

Arnold Castro ’17 ’22 brings over 25 years of emerging technology leadership experience to Texas A&M, combining deep expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics with a proven track record of driving innovation and organizational transformation. A graduate of Mays Business School’s MBA and Master of Science in Analytics programs, Castro previously served as the chief data & technology officer at MFG Analytic, where he helped guide organizations worldwide through their AI adoption journey. He also served as an Airborne Combat Engineer in the US Army.

As Mays’ first assistant dean for AI, Castro will lead the institution’s comprehensive AI initiatives, overseeing our two competitions and the development of an AI and Business minor and a Flex Online AI and Business certificate program.
