What extracurricular activities were you involved in at Texas A&M?  Phi Beta Lambda; Freshman Business Initiative; SUMMIT Conference

What was your favorite MIS-related course at A&M?  My favorite MIS course was Database Programming (ISTM 315) with Dr. Becker.  I loved the course because it helped me connect programming concepts and business decisions.  Dr. Becker is also an extremely profound professor, and person.

What do you feel was the most beneficial course you took?  I think the most beneficial course I took was MGMT 363.  It taught me a lot about people and how they think, and I love working with people.  It even helped me understand some of my personal relationships better.

Any specific advice you would give to current MIS students?  MIS is a broad field, which is good yet daunting.  If you feel overwhelmed by this, pick something you think you want to pursue.  Odds are, it will be different than what you expect.  If you don’t like it, you’ll have an opportunity to change it.
