Application Details

Certificates are awarded in May, August, and December, and will be mailed directly to the student. There is no fee associated with the awarding of a certificate. Students can also request to have certificates removed from their degree by contacting their academic advisor.

ISTM 635 – Business Information Security (spring), prerequisite

ISTM 645 – IT Security Controls (fall)

ISTM 655 – Security Management & Compliance (spring)

The courses included in certificates are not offered every semester. Students should allow multiple semesters to complete all of the certificate requirements. If you wish to pursue one of these certificates, please contact Veronica Stilley to request to have the certificate added to your curriculum no later than the semester before the certificate requirements will be completed.

Non-business students will need assistance registering for courses within Mays Business School. To request enrollment in one of these certificate courses, non-business students should submit a wait list request. Note in the comments area of the request that the certificate is being pursued.
