Biography

Amy Hurta graduated from Texas A&M in 2008 with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting.  Before returning to Texas A&M to teach, she worked in public accounting for over 14 years.  Her public accounting career focused on taxation at Big 4, local, and middle market firms.  She is a licensed CPA in Texas and currently teaches business communication skills to accounting majors.
