Biography

Andrew is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance with the Adam C. Sinn ’00 Department of Finance at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. Andrew received a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Cornell University and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Swarthmore College.

Andrew’s research fields are in empirical macroeconomics, macrofinance, and public finance, and his current research is focused on U.S. housing credit policy and secondary mortgage markets, real estate finance, U.S. business cycles, and R&D, innovation, and growth.

Before joining Mays Business School, Andrew was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Middlebury College, where he taught courses on macroeconomics, financial crises, and stabilization policy. And prior to his graduate studies, Andrew worked as an Assistant Budget Analyst and Research Assistant with the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Budget and as a Federal Budget Policy Analyst with the Economic Policy Institute.
