Biography

Dr. Hepfer currently teaches corporate and partnership taxation and financial accounting. He conducts archival, capital markets-based research at the intersection of financial reporting and corporate taxation. His research is published in leading accounting journals. Dr. Hepfer is a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois), and prior to joining the academy, he was a senior tax associate at PwC-Chicago, focusing on ASC 740 and international tax.
