Biography

Dr. Bradley Wesner is a management, leadership, communication, and teamwork specialist at Texas A&M University.  Brad’s Bachelor’s Degree was in Criminology, and he worked as a law enforcement officer for several years in Indianapolis before making a transition into the insurance industry.  As an insurance settlement specialist, Brad was instrumental in revolutionizing settlement practices for CNA Insurance and AIG where he developed a process for settlement of long-term disability and worker’s compensation claims.  After working to train individuals within those organizations on the new practice, he decided to return to advance his education and pursue his Ph.D.  After receiving his Master’s degree in Applied Communication through Indiana University in 2007, he pursued and received his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University 2011.  Brad has extensive experience in working with teams and teamwork and has focused on development of high-performance teams and rapid resilience practices with his current body of research focusing on those topics.   Brad has served as a trainer and consultant for a variety of profit and non-profit organizations including Univision and Heico Corporation, and is known for his dynamic training style and ability to make complex theory understandable and applicable to the modern business organization.  Brad is the author of two books including “Bubba Can Dance:  Winning at Work, a text detailing success factors associated with high performance in the workplace. He lives with his wife Kylene, daughter Anastasia, son Dominic, and Greyhound Gizmo in College Station, Texas and is an avid fisherman and French chef in his spare time.
