Biography
David Stroud is a fifth year Ph.D. student with research interests in audit and financial reporting. Prior to starting at Mays Business School-Texas A&M, David received his B.S. in Mathematical Finance and M.S. in Accounting from Trinity University. David spent three years in the audit practice at EY with experience in oil & gas, construction, and retail. He is also an Accounting Doctoral Scholars (ADS) scholar, a recipient of the AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students, and a licensed CPA in the state of Texas. David anticipates completing his degree in the spring of 2025.
