Biography

For over 25 years, Don Lewis has offered thousands of students entrepreneurship education opportunities. Teaching, coaching, and mentoring student entrepreneurs to be valuable contributors to society and supporting the Texas A&M Grand Challenge areas.

Don Lewis has been a faculty member in the Department of Management and then Marketing at the Mays Business School, at Texas A&M University since 1999. He is currently an executive professor in the field of Marketing.

Lewis received his BBA (Management) in ’86 and MBA (IT) in ’92 from Texas A&M; and Texas A&M; International University. His professional areas of interest include issues in marketing entrepreneurial and small business education and providing students with international business opportunities.

Prior to his academic career, Lewis spent several years in Europe and then in Bryan College Station as an entrepreneur. Lewis is a Fish Camp Namesake 2016, a recipient of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Excellence in Teaching Award, the John J. Koldus III Faculty and Staff Achievement award, the Student Led Award for Teaching Excellence, the International Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship, Newman 10 award for one of the 10 fastest growing businesses in Bryan College Station and is involved in several service roles in the local community. He is married and has two children, Megan and Kylan.
