Biography

Erik Hoempler is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Management at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. His research interests include Organizational Crisis and Misconduct, Strategic Leadership and Corporate Governance, and Entrepreneurship. Primarily, his research examines the impact that misconduct or other crises have on organizations and their leaders. While at Texas A&M, he has taught Strategic Management to undergraduate students. Before joining the Ph.D program, Erik earned his B.S in Engineering Management at the United States Military Academy and served in the United States Army as an Aviation Officer from 2012 to 2020.
