Biography

Katy Lane, Ph.D., is Director of the Center for International Business Studies at Mays Business School and Clinical Assistant Faculty in the Department of Management at Texas A&M University. Her team supports Mays Business School students in study, intern, volunteer, and research abroad programs as well as incoming exchange students.
 
Katy has developed innovative programs, supported new faculty program leaders, managed risk and outreach efforts, and led students on 12 programs abroad across four continents. She received her B.A. in Mathematics, her M.S. in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Sciences, and her Ph.D. in Leadership, Education and Communications. An internship with the Panama Canal Authority as an undergraduate sparked her passion for global learning.
