Biography

Samuel Andres Martinez serves as a Program Specialist III for the Adam C. Sinn ’00 Department of Finance at Texas A&M University. Before joining Mays Business School in December 2024, he began his career as a high school chemistry teacher in Los Fresnos, TX, where he taught for five years. In July 2023, Samuel and his family moved to Bryan, TX, and started his career at Texas A&M University as an academic advisor for General Engineering. In his current role, he supports academic advising for five high-impact graduate programs, including MSF, MSQF, MRE, and MFM (CPB & TRIP). Samuel earned his B.S. in Multidisciplinary Studies with minors in Psychology, Sociology, and Chemistry from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2018.

Outside of work, Samuel enjoys spending time with his wife, Abigail, connecting with his church community, and playing tennis.
