Dr. McGuire’s primary research interests are tax and financial reporting as well as the influence of tax and accounting information on capital markets. Dr. McGuire’s research is published in The Accounting Review, Review of Accounting Studies, Contemporary Accounting Research, and the Journal of the American Taxation Association. Dr. McGuire is a Texas A&M University Presidential Impact Fellow and has won teaching awards at the department, college, and university level.
