Sophomore Start

MSF Sophomore Start is the best way to maximize your experience and the benefits of our program. Sophomore Start allows you to take 14 credit hours of MSF courses while you are still an undergrad. This includes 3 hours that you will take in a May Boot Camp and 3 hours that you will take in an August Boot Camp the first summer following admission. MSF Sophomore Start increases the competitiveness of your recruitment and reduces the cost of the Program by up to 10% due to 14 hours of MSF courses taken while an undergrad is included at the undergrad tuition rate.

Emphasis for Sophomore Start acceptance is placed on the following in order of importance: GRE/GPA, career goal, career focus, maturity and resume strength. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and at least 50th percentile on the GRE quantitative score.

How To Apply

Professional Program in Industrial Engineering (PPIE)

The Professional Program for Industrial Engineers (PPIE) is a flagship, high-impact addition to the MS Finance degree for students currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISEN) at Texas A&M. Upon admission to the MS Finance program, ISEN students will be able to join the PPIE 3+2 track. The goal of PPIE is to offer students pursuing an ISEN degree the opportunity to minimize their graduate course hours and costs while enrolled in the MSF program by combining skills from both degrees in a more efficient manner and increasing a student’s marketability to employers.

Limited to ISEN students who apply as as sophomore.
