The Master of Financial Management (MFM) is designed to prepare students for leadership roles in finance, providing them with advanced knowledge and practical skills necessary for success in the finance industry. The Master of Financial Management offers four tracks: General Finance, Commercial Banking, Professional Program in Accounting, and Trading, Risk and Investments Program.

The MFM General Finance Program is a traditional post-graduation masters program and offers admission in fall, spring, and summer terms. The MFM General Track is open to all majors at Texas A&M University, as well as those from other universities.
Applicants to the MFM General Finance Program should have a minimum overall grade point average of 3.0, minimum major GPA of 3.0, less than one-year professional work experience, and a completed undergraduate degree before the program begins. No GRE or GMAT is required.
The Commercial Banking Program, Trading, Risk and Investments Program, and Professional Program in Accounting each have unique admission criteria and application terms. Visit the program webpage for details.

- TOEFL or IELTS (International applicants only – unofficial, self-reported, within two years of application date)
- TOEFL iBT ≥ 5.0 with ≥ 4.0 on each section
- TOEFL iBT Legacy Scale: ≥ 100 on legacy scale
- TOEFL Essentials ≥ 10
- IELTS score ≥ 7
