Career Services

Students who earn an online Master of Science in Accounting will find that there are many valuable career prospects to pursue.  The skills gained in the program will offer opportunities to advance in your current career or seek a new role. The curriculum is immediately applicable, allowing for ongoing growth while maintaining the work, school, and life balance that is so important to adult students.

We’re proud of our graduates and the opportunities that the degree affords. In fact, many of our graduates in Accounting are often recruited by the Big Four accounting firms, and other nationally-recognized firms.

The MS Accounting Online program assists students in preparing and finding employment through the following career services:

  • Career Management Center: Students are provided one-on-one coaching on professional development, resumes, job search strategies, workshops, etc.
  • Professional development coursework: MS Accounting students will interface with professionals working in the field in many of their courses. All online MS students take a professional development and writing seminar in their final semester of the program. There are also tax- and audit-specific capstone seminars focused on career preparation built into the program curriculum.
  • Corporate recruiting events: The Aggie Network and strong relationships between Texas A&M and many large corporate employers generate recruiting events geared specifically toward our online students each year.
