Semester Exchange (REEP)

Exchange programs enable students to spend a Fall and/or Spring semester at a partner university. You enroll in a 12-credit hour “holding course” (IBUS 301) and pay tuition and fees to TAMU. Actual courses taken abroad are converted after your transcript is received from the host institution. Plan with your academic advisor for how courses can be incorporated into your BBA degree plan and how you can earn the Certificate in International Business.
  • Qualifications:
    • Business major
    • 3.0 GPA at time of application
    • U3 or U4 classification at time of exchange
    • Two or more semesters remaining before graduation
  • Cost: Exchanges are the most cost effective way to study abroad. Click here to compare a semester at TAMU to a semester on an exchange program.
  • Locations: Choose from 41 schools in 27 countries. Scroll down and look by region — Americas, Asia/Oceania, or Europe.
  • Courses: View the list of previously approved courses by school or by subject. Classes count as TAMU “in-residence” courses and grades are S/U (satisfactory/unsatisfactory).

“I believe I gained so much more knowledge by going abroad. While my friends were going through the motions in College Station, I was able to live on my own for 5 months while also visiting 12 different European countries. I was experiencing things many people cannot even imagine.” -Emily Kercheville, Spring 2017 REEP Student
