Opportunities to Learn More

Students are encouraged to learn about potential careers and the necessary requirements to major in finance early in their college experience. They can do so by enrolling in the following courses:

• FINC 210: This course introduces freshmen and sophomores to the main finance career paths and helps them assess their interest in the field.
• FINC 211: This second course allows students who have taken FINC 210 to explore specific career competencies needed in various financial workplaces through analyzing real-world finance problems with practitioners. Students need approval of the instructor to enroll in this course.
