Biography
Nicky Amos is the Associate Head for the Adam C. Sinn ’00 Department of Finance and the Director of the Master of Real Estate Program at Texas A&M – the #1 ranked public real estate master’s program in the country. Whoop! She also serves as an Executive Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance and is honored to be the Carlton D. Stolle Fellow in real estate. Prior to her service with Texas A&M, she had a successful career in commercial real estate mortgage banking with NorthMarq Capital where she supported debt and equity originations and underwriting for institutional groups and private investors. Ms. Amos earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture (’02) and a Master of Land Economics and Real Estate (’05) from Texas A&M University. After graduation, she became involved in the Aggie Real Estate Network serving as a Regional Director from 2006-2009 and then President-Elect, President, and Past-President from 2010-2012. She is thankful to be back home in Aggieland with her husband, a fellow LERE graduate, and their three children. She counts the ability to teach and mentor students at Texas A&M as one of life’s great gifts.
