Career Services

The Career Management Center supports MS-HRM students with a wide range of services, including:

  • Career coaches for individualized career planning and support: Your assigned career coach works with you to develop a personalized career plan in support of internship and full-time job searches, as well as effective lifelong career management skills
  • Development of a personalized career management plan: You will work with your Career Coach to create a personalized career management plan that integrates the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience needed to support your career goals
  • Career management skills and strategies: The Career Management Center guides students’ learning on how to create and develop impactful resumes, interviewing, networking and offer negotiation skills, as well as the many nuances in-between to support their career management plan
  • Job placement: The Career Management Center works closely with the Center for Human Resource Management and the MS-HRM program to support students’ internship and full-time job searches. The one-stop MaysConnect career and job search portal features job postings and upcoming company recruiting events. Additionally, the Career Management team actively engages with employers to create opportunities and connect students
