Note: Most program costs will be due the term before your study abroad program. Scholarships and financial aid are typically distributed during the course term (while abroad). Please identify alternate funding sources in the prior term(s) to pay expenses associated with your program.
CIBS Scholarships
- SEMESTER EXCHANGE Scholarship Application
- Deadlines: March 15 (fall) | October 12 (spring)
- Eligibility Requirements: Mays Business Student, 3.0 GPA
- FACULTY PROGRAMS Scholarship
- Deadlines: February 1 (summer programs) | November 1 (winter or spring programs)
- Eligibility: Mays Business Student, 2.5 GPA, participating in a Mays faculty-led or field trip program
- INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP Scholarship
- Deadline: March 15 (summer & fall) | October 12 (spring)
- Eligibility Requirements: Mays Business Student, 3.0 GPA; Internship may be (a) overseas, or (b) with an international organization (e.g. U.S. State Department, The World Bank, United Nations, etc.); must be a minimum of six-weeks duration; must be credit-bearing (enrolled in IBUS 484 or IBUS 684)
TAMU Education Abroad
- Register for an Affording Education Abroad presentation and ask an education abroad advisor questions you have about funding your trip.

TAMU Scholarships & Financial Aid

- Study Abroad Fellowship (Need-based, must have a FAFSA on file)

- Summer – February 1

- Financial Aid Request Form – Adjust cost of attendance for time abroad; must be filled out by faculty leader or CIBS Program Coordinator
- Academic Scholarship Education Abroad Stipend – Fill out form and submit to request stipend if receiving one of academic scholarships listed
