Graduation Information

Application and ceremony

The Texas A&M University graduation website contains:

  • applications for graduation
  • information for paying the graduation fee
  • details regarding the graduation ceremony
Students should check their degree evaluation to make sure they have met their degree requirements.

* It is the student’s responsibility to check his/her degree evaluation and to complete all academic requirements of their selected major. Declared upper-level business majors can access their degree evaluation using MyRecord through the Howdy web portal.

Tuition rebate

For questions regarding the tuition rebate, please contact Texas A&M Student Business Services at (979) 847-3337 or sbs@tamu.edu.

Full-time status

Students who are enrolled in less than 12 hours (full-time status) for their graduating semester may have problems with receiving insurance benefits and/or financial aid. It is the student’s responsibility to find out if they can be enrolled in less than 12 hours to receive these benefits.

Texas A&M grants full-time status to students enrolled in less than 12 hours during their graduating semester. Students must check their degree evaluation first to ensure they are cleared for graduation. If they are not, they must contact a marketing advisor to fill out the appropriate paperwork. Once cleared, they will need to send an e-mail to records@tamu.edu from their Texas A&M e-mail account and request full-time status recognition.
