Pathstream

The Reynolds and Reynolds Sales Leadership Institute at Texas A&M University has recently partnered with Pathstream, an online digital skills provider, to offer four new certificate programs built in partnership with leading technology companies:

These hands-on certificate programs equip participants with career-aligned digital skills to prepare them for their next job or promotion.  Programs are focused on career areas with high demand and job growth.

Using the Pathstream learning platform, participants practice using software like Tableau or Salesforce in the online classroom. There are no prerequisites, and the programs are designed to fit into the lives of full-time employees, parents, and others looking to change careers, get back in the workforce, or advance their skill set. 

Throughout the programs, participants practice digital skills in online labs and projects based on real-world workplace scenarios. Each certificate includes career navigation content, and Pathstream provides participants with career services to help land new jobs after the program. 

Upon successful completion of the program, students earn a certificate co-branded by Texas A&M University and the partnered technology company.  Programs begin on November 9th, 2021 and will be offered at multiple times in 2022.

Program Descriptions

Salesforce:

The Salesforce Administrator Career Certificate prepares students for careers in the growing field of customer relationship management (CRM) through hands-on practice with Salesforce tools. Students will gain a strong understanding of business processes in sales, the sales cycle, and more. Through projects, students will practice their skills and have a portfolio of work to show to future employers, in addition to earning a certificate from our university partner and Salesforce Trailhead.

This program is designed for students with little or no experience in Salesforce administration, and helps prepare students for the Salesforce Administrator credential exam. The program was created in partnership with Trailhead, Salesforce’s learning platform, and is fully online.

Tableau:

The Tableau Data Analytics Certificate program prepares students for careers in the growing field of data analytics through hands-on practice with tools such as Tableau and MySQL. Students will gain a strong understanding of core analytics concepts and will practice their skills through projects, building a portfolio of work to show to future employers. Students will also earn a certificate from our university partner and Tableau.

This program is designed for students with little or no experience in data analytics and helps prepare students for the Tableau Desktop Specialist certification exam. The program was created in partnership with Tableau and is fully online.

Asana:

The Asana Project Management Certificate program prepares students for careers in the growing field of project management through hands-on practice with tools such as Asana and spreadsheets. Students will gain a strong understanding of project management concepts including stakeholder management, risk management, and tracking key milestones. Through projects, students will practice their skills and build a portfolio of work to show to future employers, in addition to earning a certificate from our university partner and Asana.

This program is designed for students with little or no experience in project management and helps prepare students for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certificate exam offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The program was created in partnership with Asana and is fully online.

Facebook:

The Facebook Digital Marketing Certificate program prepares students for careers in the growing field of digital marketing through hands-on practice with tools such as Facebook Ads and Google Analytics. Students will gain a strong understanding of core digital marketing concepts including brand positioning and market segmentation, and will learn how to run digital ads and analyze the results. Through projects, students will practice their skills and have a portfolio of work to show to future employers, in addition to earning a certificate from our university partner and Facebook.

This program is designed for students with little or no experience in digital marketing and helps prepare students for the Facebook Certified Digital Marketing Associate Exam and the Google Analytics Individual Qualification. The program was created in partnership with Facebook and is fully online.
