Sales Club Officers

Meet your 2020-2021 Sales Club Officers

Audrey Valk – President

Hello! My name is Audrey Valk and I am a senior Marketing major with an emphasis professional selling and sales management. I am on course to graduate from Texas A&M in December 2020.  This past summer I got the opportunity to move to Arizona where I learned a lot about the behind the scenes of being an entrepreneur in the restaurant and retail industry. Considering how I was initially a finance major, I cannot express the impact Sales Club has made on me in the past year. Through sales competitions, networks built with companies in various industries and relationships made with other members are just the surface of what this organization can provide for students. I look forward to representing Sales Club as the Recruitment Officer this semester. Knowing the effects Sales Club has had on me, it brings me joy to share my story with others and open their eyes to opportunities it possesses.

Connor Walker – Vice President

Howdy! My name is Connor Walker and I am a junior marketing major with an emphasis in professional sales and sales management with a minor in communication. I am looking to go into the technology industry because of its ever-growing capabilities and I have made a lot of connections in this industry already through career fairs, networking events, and most importantly the sales club. I am a current member of A-Company in the Corps of Cadets and a drummer in the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. I am also involved in the Fish Drill Team, Christian Business Leaders, and have served as an Impact Counselor. I hope to see the sales club grow and become a tighter knit group this year so we can utilize each other’s skills and experience to further develop everyone’s professional and personal lives!

Kendall Bobo – Officer of Communications

Howdy! My name is Kendall Bobo and I senior Communications major with a Business minor. Though I am not in Mays Business School, after graduation I intend to pursue a career in Professional Sales. I joined Sales Club to help increase my knowledge within the sales field as well as build professional connections in the sales community. I am honored to be serving as Sales Club’s Communication and Recruitment Officer for the 2020-2021 school year alongside my fellow officers. It is my goal to increase the knowledge of Sales Club with new parts of Texas A&M University and share the countless opportunities it offers. I am excited for the upcoming school year and look forward to serving our members!

Catherine de Torcy – Treasurer

Howdy! My name is Catherine de Torcy and I am a senior Marketing major in the professional selling and sales management track. This summer, I had the great opportunity to intern at Dell Technologies as a Partner Software Sales Intern for Dell’s Client Solutions Group. During my internship, I was put on a project in which I had to analyze the success of Lead Generation and Non-Microsoft activities in PSW Sales. I am excited to use the skills I have gained this summer to serve the Sales Club as Treasurer for this year! Through Sales Club, I have had the chance of being exposed to many opportunities like competing, networking, attending professional workshops, building relationships, and more. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, working out, cooking, and spending time with friends. I am so grateful to be part of the officer team this year and am here to assist you in anything you need!

Jessica Dennis – Co-Officer of Philanthropy

Hi! My name is Jessica Dennis and I am a senior marketing major with a concentration in analytics and consulting and a certificate in non-profit organization. In the summer of 2020, I had the honor of interning for Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a sales intern. Though this internship looked different because of the COVID crisis, I was still able to gain valuable skills and obtained my AWS Cloud Certificate. Along with being one of the Philanthropy Co-Officers’, I am also involved in Delta Gamma, One Hope, Student Mobilization, and Faith Bible Church. Through the Sales Club, I have gained extensive experience in sales, broadened my network, and made incredible friends along the way. I am incredibly humbled and honored to be a part of this officer team. I am excited to intertwine philanthropy into this organization and be sure that we are serving in our community throughout the year.

Austin Pegues – Co-Officer of Philanthropy

Howdy! My name is Austin Pegues I am a senior (A- WHOOP!) marketing major with a focus in professional selling and sales management. I plan on graduating in December with a marketing degree and a certificate in nonprofit management from Mays Business School. That’s why I am so thrilled to be one of the philanthropy co-officers this semester. I have a passion for sales and philanthropic nonprofits. I am so excited to shape and make this role for the future of the sales club. This past summer I had the honor of working with the sales club namesake company Reynolds and Reynolds. My inside sales role gave me valuable knowledge of what sales looks like behind the scenes. I also had the privilege to go on ride-alongs with the outside sales force. These experiences taught me about outwardly selling and managing current customers. In addition to the sales club I work part-time at my church here in College Station as a pastoral resident and help lead a college bible study.  Sales club is a huge reason I got the amazing opportunity to work at Reynolds and Reynolds. I have met friends and made valuable connections through sales club, truly my college experience would have been so different without this organization. It is truly an honor to serve this organization and lead in the effort to make Philanthropy a major part of the sales club.
